Work-at-Home SCAMs...and how to avoid them!

 #1   Do you know the difference between a “finder” and a “wholesaler”? You had better learn before sending any money for this SCAM! (return to # 1 Red Flag above)

 # 2  Stop and re-read that paragraph. Did you notice that your money won’t be coming from any investor or buyer? This SCAMmer simply wants you to “find” houses. Of course, they must meet certain “right descriptions” which only he knows. I will absolutely guarantee that you will not be paid one penny unless this SCAMmer actually has a buyer for one of your “finds”! If this were a legitimate offer, it would make these types of details clear. It would be described as a ‘bird-dogger’ job; just like a bird dog, you’r job is to point to the target! (return to # 2 Red Flag above)

Be aware that should you visit the web site, you will be recording not only your IP address and your name, you will also be asked for an email address. In fact, you do not actually need to use the exact link provided. You can simply type "www.freebonus.com/" and get to the page that will then ask for your name and email address. This information will be recorded on your computer in a file (cookie) that can be read by this company in the future. I, therefore, suggest that you DO NOT use your real name OR email address. I further recommend blocking the freebonus.com domain and also delete any “cookies” from them.

At the site, you will get a rehash of the “information” in your mailing. Of course, there will also be more room to entice you to buy into the program. By simply visiting the site, you are telling Group M Marketing, Inc. (the actual company behind this scheme) that you are interested in their plan. Therefore, they will ramp-up the sales pitch as much as possible! Believe me, they are doing everything possible to make giving them your money as easy as possible!

Before “investing” your $99, however, it might be wise to read the statements that they have, no doubt, been advised to include about their scheme. I quote: “EARNINGS & INCOME DISCLAIMERS

ANY EARNINGS OR INCOME STATEMENTS, OR EARNINGS OR INCOME EXAMPLES, ARE ONLY ESTIMATES OF WHAT WE THINK YOU COULD EARN. THERE IS NO ASSURANCE YOU’LL DO AS WELL. IF YOU RELY UPON OUR FIGURES, YOU MUST ACCEPT THE RISK OF NOT DOING AS WELL.

WHERE SPECIFIC INCOME FIGURES ARE USED, AND ATTRIBUTED TO AN INDIVIDUAL OR BUSINESS, THOSE PERSONS OR BUSINESSES HAVE EARNED THAT AMOUNT. THERE IS NO ASSURANCE YOU’LL DO AS WELL. IF YOU RELY UPON OUR FIGURES; YOU MUST ACCEPT THE RISK OF NOT DOING AS WELL...”

Perhaps the most important statement is the following: “ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES BY OUR COMPANY ARE FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. [Emphasis added] USE CAUTION AND SEEK THE ADVICE OF QUALIFIED PROFESSIONALS. CHECK WITH YOUR ACCOUNTANT,LAWYER OR PROFESSIONAL ADVISOR, BEFORE ACTING ON THIS OR ANY INFORMATION.
