Red Flag  # 1  Here is the standard ‘Act-before-thinking-or-checking’ request. It’s a rare SCAM that doesn’t include an urgent plea to ‘reply immediately.’ (return to # 1 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 2  The “Confirmed amount in aggregate” may sound like a lot of money and it is, indeed, quite a bit. But the annual state and national lotteries in the United States, alone, were over 18 Billion dollars in 2011 and over 19 Billion dollars in 2012. You can check your own states payout here:
North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries

That means the amount shown in this SCAM letter is offering you the chance (no pun intended) to enter an extremely limited number of lotteries. There are 44 states with lotteries! If you must gamble, at least do so where some of the money will help in public education and other benefits and not just line the pockets of some unknown SCAM. (return to # 2 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 3  Notice that you are not required or even encouraged to understand what the voucher says! Go ahead, read that document. (return to # 3 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 4  OK! Here it is in black and white! Do you now understand why this is a SCAM? You are not being offered any kind of opportunity to receive any particular amount of money. The purpose of the **$ 4,596,297.00** figure is to mislead and confuse you. All you will be getting, assuming you can even trust a SCAM to do anything they say they will, is a monthly ‘newsletter’ supposedly listing some lotteries you can enter. You will still have to fill out entry forms, mail them in with any required fees. S.A.A. does nothing but publish a newsletter. Strangely, you are not offered an example of that publication for review.

The important thing to remember is that you are giving this SCAM the privilege to take $20 a month out of your bank account! Every month!? All you will supposedly be getting is a few pages of possible lottery addresses. Do you think that is worth $240 a year? How easy will it be to cancel this automatic draft? Ask your bank about this “deal!” PLEASE!
(return to # 4 Red Flag above)

While I don’t participate in lotteries, I have never seen a legal one that is difficult to enter. After all, the whole point of a lottery is to get as much money from as many people as possible. Making it difficult would certainly defeat that purpose, so the entry procedures are as simple as possible. That raises the question about what the S.A.A. newsletter could do to provide any “assistance.” That question, in my humble opinion, could be easily answered by providing potential customers with an example of a recent newsletter. Frankly, I suspect you will never ever see an actual newsletter from this company. I think they are assuming that they will get at least several months subscription fees from you before you can figure out what is happening and cancel the deductions.

How much money do you want to spend/lose to find out?
