“Dear First_Name,

Red Flag  # 1  “You often receive letters from astrologists or clairvoyants. This I know.”

It is for this reason that at this point I ask you to read this letter very, very carefully, because it is not an advertising or sales letter, but points out something that for you can at last be a really great turning point in your life.

“I would like to tell you something that I am sure will interest you a very, very great deal and which can be of great, yes even of the very greatest importance for you:

Please remember, the quotations above and below are from the SCAM letter of “Antonia Bernadette” _not_ by mailscamalert.com.

This October 20xx is a special month in which clairvoyants, astrologists and fortune-tellers from America and Europe are meeting together at a great and unique festival. It is a meeting at which great decisions are to be made and at the same time unique rituals and seances will be taking place about which I will be telling you more right away.

Before I do so, however, here’s an explanation of why I am writing to you today, dear First_Name, where [sic] we do not even know each other.

Red Flag  # 2  “In a few days, together with Olena, I will be starting out on the journey to the great meeting. Olena has told me that some time ago she sent you a red sealed letter from the High and Powerful’s monastery in the Himalayas.

Red Flag  # 3 How often have you stood at the threshold of a great chance to at last earn a lot of money? I know the answer to this: Often...

“For, together with Olena, in preparation of our great journey and meeting, I have found out that, for a very specific reason, you, dear First_Name, have never received this predicted win of money[sic]!

Red Flag  # 4 And the cause lies in a mentally aura-determined withdrawnness, which you are unable to perceive yourself, but which is unfortunately the reason for this futile waiting for a blessing of money.

And now, dear First_Name, I would like, also in the name of Olena and other friends and colleagues, to apologize that this was not already recognized earlier.

Red Flag  # 5  “I eagerly await your swift reply.”

“We know that you are urgently waiting for money that has so often been promised or announced to you. And it is for this reason we now can and want at last, to prepare everything so that very, very soon this happens and you can at long last rid yourself of all financial worries!

Please remember, the quotations above and below are from the SCAM letter of “Antonia Bernadette” _not_ by mailscamalert.com.

And thus, dear First_Name, please listen to me very closely and carefully and follow the instructions I am writing to you very, very precisely:

“In a few weeks, I will be setting out on my way to the great meeting that will take place on mm/9/yy.

There, I will have the unique opportunity of being able to initiate the first important change for you. I cannot say very much about it as it is very, very secret. But what I can tell is that it is very important and that I must have a special container made for this that can only be manufactured in South America.

On the next day I will then carry out a mental aura ritual at 8 pm your local time, which must and will be opened up for you to be able to receive a win! I will do this at that time and you will be able to feel it: An intensive and pleasant feeling will spread out extensively within you!

And on the following day I will initiate the changes affecting your karma. As soon as this has happened, all preparations will have been made. Thereupon, at this point in time you will receive information from me through the post that will pave the way to your longed for, hoped for and deserved win of money!![sic]

Red Flag  # 6 If I am to do all this for you so that you will at last and perhaps even in October gain your great blessing of money, I need your help. First of all, you must return the enclosed coupon to me. Then, after my departure on mm/3/20xx I will have the promised letter with the further information sent to you. And I have to ask you to give me the following contribution towards the costs:”

“You can pay me this amount back later: I shall tell you when and how...”

So now my very urgent piece of advice:

...

I shall tell you more in my letter which will reach you by the week before 10/8/2011 as long as you reply in time!

“Yours truly,

Supposed signature of Antonia Bernadette

PS: When I had already finished the second page of this letter, Olena gave me the enclosed voucher for you. And I too have decided to bear all the costs for you except for the train journey. For the remaining $29 (and NOT over $170!!) I shall send you an invoice so that you can give me the money back later! This is why I have crossed out the additional charges on the previous page!

The important first few days on your path to financial happiness and good fortune:

10/1/2011: ...

10/3/2011: My departure to the great meeting.

10/8/2011: If you have sent me back your coupon, you will receive in the week before 10/8/2011 a very, very important letter from me.

10/9/2011: ...

10/10/2011: I will perform the special mental aura ritual at a special location that I can only reach by train. You will feel it towards 8 o’clock in the evening. This special ritual is important, dear First_Name, to open up your aura for a win of money. [sic]

10/11/2011: Today I will initiate the changes that concern themselves with your karma...
From this day you will be open for wins of money [sic] as long as you observe thee rules I’m sending you in my letter in the week before 10/8/2011!

“Coupon

I, Antonia Bernadette, will do everything existing in the power to — as I have described in my letter — at last open up the way for First_Name Last_Name to the great and longed for win of money. (At least $250,000!)

“This will happen if I receive this coupon hear from First_Name.
Then everything will take its course as I have described. The costs involved and, as explained in my letter instead of over $170 these are only $29 (the voucher has also already been taken into account), does not have to be paid by First_Name directly, for I will be making known later when and how the small contribution towards the costs is to be paid.

Please, dear First_Name, cut off this coupon and keep the slip of paper below (as the important dates are on the back) and send me this coupon, if possible, before the day is over! For there is some urgency! And please: Do not mail any money, I will tell you in a couple of days how and when you can pay me back the $29!

note about coupon

“Dear First_Name,

“Please cut this sheet of paper through the middle along the dotted line. Then send me the coupon I have prepared for you here above in the enclosed envelope to South Hackensack. Then I will receive it in time before my departure.

And keep the lower section safe and keep it with you! Stick it up on a wall where you can see it at all times...”

Red Flag  # 1  She probably knows because she uses the same mailing lists that are used for most of your other SCAM letters. Many of those letters actually come from the same person operating under multiple aliases. This becomes more obvious as you collect and compare these letters. (return to # 1 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 2  Do you remember getting a letter from a “Olena”? It had some kind of “red seal” on it. Surely you remember it. No? I didn’t think so. You would think that a great ‘psychic’ would have known that. Perhaps this ‘psychic’ is nothing more than just another SCAM! (return to # 2 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 3  OK! Here’s the appeal to your greed. That’s always a big part of any SCAM. They know that most people always think they need more money. Certainly if you are not well prepared for retirement or have had a job loss recently. Believe me, most people would accept more money should anyone offer to give it to them. Just remember, there is always a consequence. Keep reading and it will become quite clear. (return to # 3 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 4  Well, now you know why you haven’t been “blessed” with buckets of money. The cause is “mentally aura-determined withdrawnness”. Have you ever heard of that? I doubt it, unless you have read it in one of this SCAMmer’s letters! Sounds quite complicated, dosen’t it? That is a trick in many SCAMs, use words that are often not common. The more complicated they are, the more the reader may become confused. A confused reader is one that is more likely to fall for the SCAM, of course. Adding “mentally aura-determined” just increases the confusion and attempts to make the reader is reading something only a “psychic” would know. Don’t don’t be fooled. You are smarter than this SCAMmer! “Aura” is simply a term used by “psychics” to confuse you or make you think they know what they are talking about! (return to # 4 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 5  “swift reply” There is the well-worn attempt to get you to act immediately. The real point of your acting swiftly, of course, is to keep you from discussing this SCAM with anyone, especially those who have your well being in mind, your friends and family. This SCAMmer wants you to send money today, if not sooner! Don’t sned you hard earned money before knowing what it will buy you. (return to # 5 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 6  At last the true reason for this SCAM letter! This “Bernadette” SCAMmer wants your money! I hope you are not surprised. If you are, you must not have read any of the other SCAMs listed on this site. Absolutely every single SCAM requires you to send them money, eventually, if not immediately. That’s how they pay for the mailing lists, envelopes, letter printing costs, etc. (return to # 6 Red Flag above)
