Red Flag  # 3  “How does it work you ask....

“It’s called a “Pro-Wheel System”, and it’s extremely complicated. To be honest, I’d need a mathematician to explain it to you fully, but the basic principle is easy to understand. The very first time we used it—we won a US$ 1.9 Million Dollar Jackpot Prize. Naturally, we’ve been using it ever since....winning prizemoney[sic] every time we play!

“Firstly, by playing more numbers (more than the standard six or seven, etc), in a syndicate of 180, you have a better chance of matching the winning numbers. In fact, you will have more than one third of the numbers in play covered, in each of these three big games!

“Secondly, covering 17 numbers in play, with so many entries, mathematically increases your odds of holding a winning ticket.

“Successful professional gamblers use wheeling systems. The wheeling system concept provides an optimal methodology for playing numbers and payoff maximization through multiple ticket wins. It is a matter of personal choice as to whether or not you want to play lottery games. However, if you do play lottery games, wheeling systems represent the most intelligent way to play and win!

“We have taken wheeling systems to the next level. In a full wheel the combinations of standard sets of numbers are very similar. In our Pro-Wheel system we extrapolate the common recurring combinations. We accumulate the data on each number, how many times drawn, the period of time between draws, and assign a high probability, low probability, and due probability factor to each number, all odds and evens balancing, plus how many skipped drawns[sic] occur since the number was last drawn. We study the occurence of pairs and the frequency they are drawn and will fall due, the most drawn pairs and the pattern in which pairs occur. Factoring all this information is complicated and time-consuming, but the result is a scientifically structured approach to playing lotteries.

“This means we can still guarantee a minimum match win, and cover a much larger spread of numbers than you would otherwise be able to play with a full wheel.

Please remember, the quotations above are from the SCAM letter from the “Aussie International Winners Circle” _not_ by

Red Flag  # 1  “Why would you spend money on a foreign lottery?” A very good question since that is not only amazingly risky but also illegal! Not only will you be unable to determine if your ‘tickets’ have even been purchased, you will be unable to legally receive any winnings you might get! Just who will you contact? Don’t bother the IRS, USPS, your State AG, they will simply tell you what you did was to get SCAMmed. (return to # 1 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 2  Don’t be confused with the “US$” usage, the amounts will be in the currency used by where ever the lottery is held. By not using those currency designations, the SCAMmers hope you will think these are US based lotteries. And, of course, the winnings would not have US taxes withheld since it is illegal to play any foreign lottery in the US! Of course, that’s just another detail the SCAMmers hope you’ll forget. (return to # 2 Red Flag above)

Red Flag  # 3  The “system” is too complicated for you to understand. All you have to do is trust the SCAMmer to create a system that cheats the lottery, buy the tickets, and pay your winnings. This is the point where all SCAMs fail. Some will pay you small sums for a few times but eventually, you will be left holding an empty bag of failed dreams and promises. That“s why they are called SCAMs, after all! Just use your own intelligence, this letter came completely unsolicited and from complete strangers for an illegal operation. Why would you to believe anything said or promised in it? (return to # 3 Red Flag above)

“Lisa Oldham” is just a pseudonym. That’s not actually the name of their “Prize Distribution Director” assuming they even have one of those! But, since they are honest enough to tell us this, surely we can trust everything else they say. Surely!

You should be concerned about attempting to enter any foreign lottery. Period. It is simply illegal. Period. While most people caught receive only a stern warning about this activity, you could get up to two years in a Federal prison! All because you trusted a SCAM company to buy lottery tickets for you. You should also be aware that most foreign lotteries do not monitor these “ticket-purchasing services.” You will, therefore, have no one to help you should you discover that you have beed defrauded! That may be the reason most people are not prosecuted by the Postal authorities; the people who spend their money for these purchases have already learned a lesson the hard way!

The best thing to do with any mailings from these “ticket-purchasing services” is to forward them to the nearest Postal Inspector or Postmaster.
